A piece of contemporary dance where we use traditional Galician dance as the main mechanism of expression.
In «DeMente» we will talk about a reality, a stigma, some pathologies that, according to the WHO, one in four people suffered, suffers or will suffer at some point in their lives. We will stage the evolution of treatments for people suffering from mental disorders, from the practically prison crowding to the externalization of our days.
The necessary integration into society and normalization as another type of ailment, the fight against stigma, these and many other issues will be addressed on stage.

The Beauty of It is based on Carl Jung's theories about the duality between the conscious and unconscious mind and the inability to differentiate reality from dream. This piece exposes the fragility of man, as well as a reflection on the authenticity of the actions or characters created by himself. What is the real mask? Is everything we experience real? What is the difference between acting and behaving as it is?
The Beauty of It uses the recordings of the interview with dr. Carl Jung in 1957 as an external narrator to immerse us in a reflective state where the interpreter is the object of study, but is also a mirror of ourselves. Swept away by the different qualities of movement and expressions, we submerge ourselves in the human unconscious.

La Macana brings Alexis Fernández and his teenage son on stage in a purity that deals with the not always simple relationship between generations. The impulse of father and son to share the stage holds a mirror before the audience: fathers, mothers, sons, daughters. Pink Unicorns is a wild dance theater in which two bodies meet.
The first, Alexis Fernández, a Galician with Cuban origin who in his extensive experience as a dancer has never had to face a greater challenge than dancing with a closer partner. On the other hand, Paulo Fernández, a splendid, athletic and creative fifteen-year-old teenager, full of energy and eager to confront his millennial perspective with his beloved father.

My classes are based on physical training, on the repetition of exercises, providing floor technique, musicality, variations, improvisation, creation guidelines... Different materials will be repeated to let them enter the body while more elements will be added, complexity, speeds, inertia and imagination in relation to the space that surrounds us with the aim of finishing the intensive being aware of the control of our body, of the perception of space and time, mastering different qualities and dynamics. But above all dance and enjoy dancing.
